Idyllic Concept Resort is located at Sunrise Beach, Koh Lipe , a small tropical island a part of the 60 Islands group, Tarutao National Marine Park, Andaman Sea. Koh Lipe Island is located off the Satun province in Thailand.
Visitors in Thailand may take the island Speed boat from Pak Bara, which is a small port town in Satun Province about an hour drive by car from the major city of Hat Yai. Island speed boats bound for Koh Lipe leave twice daily at 11:30 hrs. and at 14.00 hrs., stopping at either Koh Tarutao or Koh Kai en route. Speed boats directly to Koh Lipe may be chartered from Pak Bara also.

- Please note: please arrived at Had Yai Aprport before 9.30hrs.
- The hotel staff will pick you up at the airport with a sharing van can take you directly to Satun at Pakbara pier.
- Tourists should purchase the Speedboat ticket to Koh Lipe, directly at the pier from the company, rather than on the road from the ticket tour counter If you arrive on Koh Lipe on a one way ticket, return tickets or tickets to different destinations can be purchased at Idyllic Concept Resort.
- Long tail taxi boats cost THB 50 per person from Koh Lipe pier and will take you directly to Idyllic Concept Resort Beach where our staff will handle your luggage’s.

This resort just opened on December 2008, so it was brand new when we stayed there. Then they had put very few sings on the way to the hotel, so we were struggling to find the place. But when we finally did, it was just as we imagined it. The place is a little bit isolated, so if you are looking for lots of activities, maybe for you it would be better to stay on the busy Pattaya beach. But if you travel to Koh Lipe to relax, swim and snorkel, this is the place to go.
ReplyDeleteThe rooms are very clean and modern. (And the beds and blankets very comfortable!) The american breakfast was ok. But it wasn't enough to keep us going the whole day, so we ended up eating lunch at the hotel almost every day. The staff was very helpful in everything and even borrowed us some dvd's to watch at our room.
The beach (the hotel is on the Sunrise Beach) was lovely and pretty empty although it was the peak season. The best snorkeling places of this island are just in front of the hotel! There was peaces of glass on the Sunrise Beach (because of some "stupid" tourists), so watch your step.
The overall picture of this hotel was very pleasent. And if we some day go back to Koh Lipe, which we definitely would like to do, we would absolutely stay in this hotel!
stayed in i-sky suite and watched the sunrise in bed. the resort is still in preopen and no restaurant yet. the room is a bit small considering the high full rate. no cover for the window between the bathroom and bedroom.
ReplyDeleteIdyllic Concept Resort Koh Lipe ,Wow, this hotel really hits the mark on all levels. We stayed for our honeymoon which also happened to be my wife 30th birthday. the accommodation is superb,they are extremely comfortable and very well desinged with great attention to detail.
